The confirmation came a few days ago: the Virgilio Arena returns in August to the Gaeta events to entertain the summer evenings with artists, singers and comedians. Like every year, the Arena stage will host big names on the Italian entertainment scene with six music and cabaret shows.
To inaugurate the festival, on August 16th, is Vincenzo Salemme who, with the humor that distinguishes him, brings his show “Neapolitan? Make me a Pizza?”. A witty representation of stereotypes and commonplaces that revolve around the figure of the Neapolitan persona. The show continues on 18thAugust with Gigi Finizio, another representative of the Neapolitan artistic and singing scene, with a concert that bears the name of his new song “Vienemeatruva”.
August 19this the evening of fun with Paolo Caiazzo struggling with the society of our days told in the show “Non mi chiamoTonino”. In the hilarious monologue he narrates some events of his career in an ironic approach. Peppe Iodice gives a change of scene with his show “One Evening Suddenly”, a recital in which the artist gives life to a monologue with many guests and sketches.
On August 20thand 21stit is again the turn of the music with Mogol and Gianmarco Carroccia who bring to stage their project “Emotions”, a musical biography of Lucio Battisti. The next day brings two young singers of the Neapolitan rap scene Ivan Granatino and BL4IR with “Caramella the Concert”. The sixth day ends with Biagio Izzo in “A Guardian Angel”.
