How much do you get to spend today to buy or rent a property in the province of Latina?
According to the latest data, those of June 2019, the two realities that have opposed were Sperlonga and Prossedi with regard to the sale, and Ponza and Cori with regard to rents:
The Municipality of Sperlonga, known worldwide as the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, reached 5,427 euros per square meter in June 2019, while the Municipality of Prossedi recorded 519 euros per square meter. These are two contrasting realities that must be contextualized based on a fundamental aspect: Sperlonga is a purely tourist destination. In between the maximum and minimum, other municipalities moved at an average of 1,983 euros per square meter. In Gaeta, for example, the cost was 3,040 euros per square meter, while in Formia it was 2,129 euros.
This covers home sales; however, if we look at rental properties, the Municipality of Ponza ranks first at 75.10 euros per month per square meter, and the Municipality of Cori ranks last at 4.91 euros per month per square meter. In this case as well, the fundamental variable is tourism. Gaeta stands at an average of 19.75 euros and Formia at 6.62 euros.
The seaside resorts are those that reach the highest peaks, while the hillside towns maintain more contained costs.
The overall average for real estate sales in the Province of Latina was therefore 1,983 euros per square meter, recording a decrease of 1.77% compared to the previous year. These figures are far from May 2014, the month and year in which the peak of 2,329 euros per square meter was recorded.
